* Amazing people from the Regional VP down. * Owner is a "walk the talk" guy. Very personable and down to earth. * Intelligent & dedicated workforce. * Company has a clear vision of where they are and want to be in the market. * A lot of tenure in the ranks. People stick with the company and morale is very good. Management and employees have a good synergy and collaborate well. * Employee-friendly organization. The closest to a true "family atmosphere" I've found anywhere. Easy to say, hard to accomplish but HT Hackney has this as part of their mission and it shows. * Management is receptive of new ideas and not stuck in past successes / failures. * Top-notch HR manager in Lenoir City. * Approachable managers. Expectations are clear and they are able to effectively listen before making decisions.
Cons
* This industry can have a high learning curve with the complexities of the business. Best advice is to make some connections early with co-workers to help the process along. Hackney employees are knowledgable and friendly across the board and are very welcoming to newcomers. Don't be shy and the work makes sense quickly.
