Good place to work

Pros

Folks are generally collaborative rather than combative; smarts are rewarded; and the employee owned nature of the company means that the company can focus on long term projects instead of just on rewarding stockholders.

Cons

Different visions of the company's future are held by very senior managers. As a result, it's unclear what the future will be.

Pros

HDR allows for creativity and flexibility. The culture is great and employees are smart, fun, and active in and out of the workplace.

Cons

It is hard to think of a poor thing to say about this company. HDR is a great place to work and even though we are growing, upper management cares about everyone.

Pros

Decent benefits with opportunities to work on a large variety of projects. The large company allows networking and professional development that a smaller company cannot afford.

Cons

Being a large company the corporate side can be overbearing, and restrict flexibility. At times it can feel like you are lost in the masses, and that recognition for good work is either misplaced to the wrong parties or overlooked entirely.
