      Pros

      There are good reasons to work there- good health care, decent pay, will help pay for parking, staff is usually very good.

      Cons

      Not much room for advancement. No training except for a few select people. will not pay for any outside conventions, or education unless you are a speaker, but thats probably not a-typical any more. Its a big company and if your branch is small, it's hard to get anywhere.

      The company has great medical benefits, 401k and stock options. The pay is very competitive with the engineering firms around.

      Cons

      Working for the large company can make it seem that you are just a number and there is no personal connections.
