      HDR is a place where as an Intern you are exposed to bright professionals trying to help you find a passion.

      Pros

      HDR is a completely employee owned company and therefore has a unique culture that has formed as a result of employee pride. The way things are conducted between peers and between offices are so easy going that everyone wants to succeed as a whole just as much as individually. I loved the working atmosphere, even when work was light.

      Cons

      My office had limited work at times and therefore there were periods when I feel like I had to venture out and source work from different functional groups to try and keep busy.

      Nice people, friendly place, good place for ppl starting or close to retirement, great stock option. good leaders, flexible hour

      a place for retirement, limited growth, lack of training, no clear career structure, middle management with attitude, lack of long term strategy

      Pros

      Hybrid working is flexible and works quite well. There are some very good engineers and technicians working here.

      Cons

      Senior design leads are entirley absent during project lifespan, Will step in at the eleventh hour to assess damage. Workload is spotty at best and management will bizarrley rebuke the lowest level employees for this. Senior 'management' spend more time reconfiguring team organisation charts and creating new job titles than actually guiding staff or managing projects. Making staff redundant with zero prior indication of performance issues or any feedback whatsoever, An HR department who appear to revel in this process. Cliquey work atmosphere. If you don't fit in then you're going to have a difficult time of it imo.
