      Pros

      The value system behind all of HDRs work and ethics is exemplary. You can't ask more of a 100-year-old employee-owned engineering company.

      Cons

      The career opportunities for some jobs types is extremely limited, especially in the tech fields. Also, HDR is a bit of a resume collector; they prefer big names to innovators. This results in a preponderance of "senior" experts, but also an old-school mindset across all practices.

      Pros

      Employee owned company with flexible work hours and great co-workers! It was a lot of fun to work here with a lot of morale boosting events.

      Cons

      When upper management changed, it was not the same anymore. Beware that some of the managers or department heads will stab you in the back.
