Pros

If you are willing to put up with the hiring process they will hire pretty much anyone.

Cons

Continues to post 400+ million in free cash flow per quarter. Has money to maul 25k employees pay, stubs, W2s calanders, make web sites and meetings telling them how much they invest in us. Yet wages are still %14 behind inflation even at a constant high performance on my reviews have not had a raise in 3 years that even covers insurance premium increases. IT can't figure out how to do a program update without shutting the entire department down for 2 days every quarter and we are expected to use our vacation or not be paid if there is no other work.

Pros

Movement within the company is great. It gives you the opportunity to find the place where you can be most productive. Good pay, good benefits.

Cons

Parking is horrible. The management is questionable. Too many ex military hiring military transitioning out and being given opportunities they have not earned. Actual shipyard experience is undervalued.

Paid leave is not available for many life events. Schedule is very rigid dependent on your manager.
