      HITT is a great place to work if you're actually willing to work hard

      Pros

      HITT has a good team atmosphere within each sector. Good people and values across the board, and growing with the upturn of the construction market.

      Cons

      Perspective is everything - you have to be willing to work and do whatever it takes to get the job done - most may see that as a con, but I view it as a positive trait that more people need to possess.

      Pros

      The pay is only decent but there are instances where the company seems to throw money at people and this is highlighted by a problem I note below.

      Cons

      Work-life balance is horrible, they promote staying in the office from 7:30-5:00 regardless of if the work you have on your plate warrants it, the atmosphere is highly unprofessional (language, slurs, inappropriate work discussions) which is exacerbated by the lack of an HR department, stuck in an archaic way of thinking when it comes to construction and internal personnel management, they have the idea that assigning bodies to tasks will fix problems when it is an organizational/structural issue, to many more to name.
