Pros

Privately held company with outstanding products

Cons

Snitch culture - the Repair department snitches on Tech Support who snitches on other TSRs and calls it "coaching opportunities" while the Accounting department and Tech Support snitch on each other. Low wages - just cheap for a California company for Tech Support No gender/racial diversity in middle management in the Tech Support department

Pros

401k is good. That's about it.

Cons

Low pay vs other companies in the SD area. Constant turnover in manufacturing, shipping and stockrooms. HORRIBLE WORK LIFE BALANCE - If you are hourly you get 6 sick days a year. After that you are forced to use 8 hours vacation time for every day you are out. Not just sick but anything, NO EXCEPTIONS. Car trouble? Doctors appointment? Sick child? ANYTHING? There goes 8 hours of your vacation time. I got COVID and was out 5 days and later had to help elderly mother with something for a day. After that I would just go to work sick and my coworkers would do the same, we didn't want to lose vacation, it is very important to everyone not just upper management. Also get ready to work mandatory overtime on Saturday if they want you to. Look elsewhere if the position is hourly!
