      Pros

      This company has good benefits, and has a system for providing pay raises every year. It is very flexible. It has a very supporting staff, even remotely, for any issue (i.e. IT, HR, Project Controls, and others), that facilitates the work that one is performing.

      Cons

      Management sometimes does not contact staff, specially as the project is finishing, to explain what will happen with positions.

      Pros

      Department managers run the show within their department. Good starting salaries. Great technical resources at employees disposal. Good communication with upper management. The work you put in reflects pay. Good system in play to track professional development. Generally good work/life balance (manager dependent).

      Cons

      Since department managers run the show, better hope you have a good department manager who cares about your and the department's growth. Not as easy to climb the ladder. Getting expenses paid can be a pain.
