      Pros

      HNTB is a good starter job. Good benefits Pay is decent Good training programs

      Cons

      Since I have been employed with HNTB, I have noticed managers favor certain employees. Clearly the culture has an in group and out group. If one is part of the in group, there will be plenty of billable work. Less favored employees are often assigned least desirable tasks or in some cases end up losing their job due to “not enough billable work.” People who don’t deserve promotions continue getting promoted. A lot of turnover. Good employees are leaving. Non-engineers are not going to move up. Treated as invisible unless something is needed.

      Pros

      Smooth transition into the company. Honestly, I think that is the only pro I have witnessed over the past couple of years.

      Cons

      Mismanagement in all levels. Incompetent folks are in important roles and getting promoted is a dream. Unable to maintain good long lasting relationship with employees and most end up leaving the company in less than a year.

      Pros

      none really compared to what other companies offer - they have some sort of a stock ownership plan but it is very weak

      Cons

      Deceptive hiring strategies. no clear vision, Project directors are tasked with luring in clients to grow revenues, managers are tasked with luring in resources to sell to the clients, if the director is successful in selling the service to the client then you have a job, if not, they don't need you - in short the business model is unstable and cannot be sustained for long time.
