Pros

The company has secured an impressive project; however, the workload distribution among the teams is unfair. While you can expect various benefits such as apparel and food throughout the workweek, it's important to note that this may not be the ideal place for those seeking a fulfilling career beyond just a salary. It is worth mentioning that the company's social media posts primarily aim to project a positive image rather than accurately reflect the work environment.

Cons

This is particularly evident in the Indiana offices, where the work culture serves as a stark example of white supremacy. It is ironic that their so called Inclusion, Diversity and Equity group is led by a white person and and there is a noticeable absence of women and people of color in prominent positions within the office. Work assignments are unfairly distributed among those close to managers or who happen to be white. Despite the industry trend of hybrid schedules, remote work is strongly discouraged in the office. Those who work remotely are indirectly informed that their chances of promotion are nearly nonexistent. Unfortunately, the negative work culture permeates many groups within the company. The actual experience of working here is far from the idealized image portrayed on social media or different groups within hte offices. If your goal is simply to survive in your career, then joining this company may be an option. I have seen people working in the same role for years.

Pros

Can work remotely on occasion

Cons

Bullying, lack of training,, no tools given to new employees to succeed, it's a sink or swim environment, management does not spend enough time with new employees . i began looking for a new job shortly after I started with this company because the culture was not inclusive and you were given very short deadlines to get work done. Not enough lead time to actually learn or read what needs to be done.

Pros

Great flexibility & work/life balance. Average pay.

Cons

Had co-worker(s) leave and had to pick up their work, yet my position was never reclassified to increase pay for doing more than what I was doing when they were here. The "merit" based increases are a mere slap in the face. Management is too busy for internal lunches (why not just let someone else take the lead if you're too busy instead of literally cancelling them every time they occur because you got "busy"). Same thing for meetings and following up on email from staff. I get that you're "busy" but if you can't make time for your own people, why stick around? Like several other people said before, "Current events have shown leadership have little regard for employees or current events. Almost no mention of racial tensions or BLM." Office leaders think traditionally in that everyone has to be in person for work and collaboration to get done. One of my former co-workers that went to a different "power tool" engineering firm says working remotely has made them MORE productive. What's the rush in getting everyone back in the office when people continue to get sick & die!?! As I work with customers quite often, I'm rarely in the office. I feel a major disconnect from the company which definitely doesn't help matters much. The pandemic has also shown me that the company isn't diversified enough and too dependent upon state transportation funding (reason why merit increases weren't applied for almost 5 months after the original date). Become more diversified and reward your employees better.
