Pros

Reputable company, high profit projects, consistent work available.

Cons

The company, with over a century of history, boasts a strong foundation of long-term employees—many with 20, 30, and even 50+ years of tenure. While this legacy is a testament to its success, it has also fostered a dated approach to office structures and company outlook. This can make it challenging to engage and retain younger talent, as the workplace culture and policies don’t always align with evolving expectations. Greater flexibility in work arrangements and adaptability to modern needs would likely foster stronger dedication and engagement from staff. Additionally, the company's extensive network of offices lacks cohesion in sharing information and standard practices. A more connected and interactive environment—one that encourages collaboration and personal engagement—would be highly beneficial. Currently, the workplace feels dry and overly corporate, and the pace of modernization lags behind more dynamic, forward-thinking firms. Investing in cultural and technological upgrades could enhance both employee experience and overall company performance.

Pros

Earned a little over 8 hours of PTO per month. And 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked.

Cons

Whilst here I felt as though the Finance department at an office level offered no opportunities for growth. The growth seemed to come from how close you became to the manager rather than from your ability to do the work. Whilst it’s a predominantly Engineering oriented company, the finance department keeps the ship afloat and should be shown the same level of importance. For reference I was paid $24 an hour compared to early entry engineers and interns being paid $40 and $30 respectively.

Pros

I enjoyed many of my coworkers, unfortunately all of them shared the same horrible experience I did.

Cons

Avoid this company at all costs. There is absolutely no support, the turnover is very high, and they have management running teams with no prior experience or knowledge in that area. They are not open to change or new ideas. Micromanagement is the only way they feel comfortable managing their teams and mistakes are not allowed. This is not a place to grow or advance your career. This is a place where you will go and potentially lose your entire team in less than a year. I am so disappointed by my experience here, and saddened by how many others have felt the same way. Please, apply somewhere else.
