You should probably look for work elsewhere

Pros

Generous PTO and free beverages. The end.

Cons

Very hierarchal. Can’t speak to someone above your boss without getting in trouble. Webster Bank (owners) have too much control over day-to-day operations. Difficult to be promoted depending on your boss. You can be told you’re the star of the team, but be given nonstop excuses as to why you can’t move forward. It’s no wonder several higher-ups have left to start up their own HSA businesses.

A bad culture in decline

Pros

Some great people who care about their co-workers and their customers.

Cons

Executive leadership is completely focused on sales numbers and doesn't care about their employees or customers. They've created a bad culture that promotes competition between departments versus teamwork. Any constructive feedback for senior leadership is met with anger and leaves you feeling like you're unappreciated.

Pros

The benefits and pto are the only pros I can think of.

Cons

Management doesn’t care about your opinion, they’ll literally tell you what you want to hear but then nothing will change. Talking about change, don’t even think about getting use to a process because the whole damn procedure will change the next day!! Coworkers are horrible, always complaining and only care about themselves. You can be a top performer, yet you will get nothing out from it. Eventually you’ll just want to come to work do the bare minimum and that’s that. Depending on your team, you might get lucky and have great people to work with and decent work, but this job will drain the life out of you.
