Decent corporate advantages and remuneration, there's a lot of structure. Necessary environment and services are available to everyone to do their work.

Cons

Too frequent strategy changes, slow to implement change before next one comes from top.

Pros

Global exposure, well positioned to take advantage of emerging markets (China & India). Lots of opportunity for improvements in efficiency, due to horrific technology.

Cons

Technology is about two decades behind. Uncertain of committment to USA business. Working for the Brits is very different than working for US bank. Most career jobs given to Brits in Management Training program - very hard for Americans to "get in."
