Pros

HSBC offers a diverse, international working experience with a community of co-workers from around the world, and a supportive atmosphere

Cons

The difficulty of moving from one division to another and the salary is very uncompetitive, even within the internal bank divisions

Pros

- The people you work with - direct management of the bank - location of employment available - decent benefits

Cons

- unattainable sales target - there seems to be a void in communication resulting in a miscommunication/lack of understanding between the branch level and senior management - noncompetitive salary - skewed hiring/promotion process - outdated resources

Pros

Great name on your resume, some good exposure to different kinds of clients/transactions.

Cons

Not everybody had poor work/life balance, but for some of us we were there long long hours and we had little support to achieve our tasks. There was also a lot of favoritism and politics. Not always fair in compensation structure
