I was hired into the R&D department fresh out of Engineering school (BSME). I was offered competitive compensation that provided me the opportunity to travel to a new city and move out. Management quickly helped me identify my strengths and challenged me to grow. I was transferred to the purchasing department and was trusted to use my knowledge and skills to manage high-level engineering and purchasing decisions. Since then, this has become my career - I was provided a unique opportunity that I am grateful for. I met new people, faced new challenges, and was mentored by professionals with extensive experience, a rare opportunity that changed my life for the better.
