Pros

Habitat for Humanity is very easy to work for, Very flexible with your schedule. The dress is casual, you can show up in flip flops if you want to. The vacation Package is very good because they can't pay you well. Great people, most have a mission to serve. Your also doing charitable work. The people you help are generally very thankful and they give you that warm feeling inside.

Cons

The pay is very low. They emphasize growth (building houses), over building community relationships. They can't find enough people for the houses and you are also at the whims of the market, since you are all working for donations.
