      Liked the job, just not the road time

      Pros

      Good hourly pay and quarterly performance based bonus four days on, three days off most weeks company vehicle and gas card, laptop and clothing allowance

      Cons

      Lots of road time (75%) norm experience is lacking within field teams management if focused more on saving money as opposed to maintaining clients and personnel.

      Pros

      Salary and benefits are up to industry standards. Overtime was not often required. Opportunities for transfer to different departments and locations.

      Cons

      Too much reliance on existing products, and not enough R&D. Danaher, the conglomerate that owned Hach, buys companies with market share and runs the products into the ground without doing the R&D needed to stay competitive. Too much emphasis on trendy management gimmicks like Kaizens and Kanbans.

      Pros

      Floor associates are often great people. Many others away from "the top" also fine, quality people.

      Cons

      Weird divisional attitudes. You are either "inside the circle" or firmly outside. A lot of superficiality and fakiness. If you wear the mask well and fit the narrow ideal mold, you'll be elevated and cherished. If not, you'll be devalued and ignored as though invisible.
