      Good opportunities for training - for job-specific skills as well as interpersonal communication skills Good sense of community within departments Good structure for annual goals and reviews

      Lots of pressure to deliver ahead of time while exceeding goals for every project, leading to burn-out

      Management is burning it

      Easy hours. OT as often as you want. Micro managers. Management sucks seriously. Hard to get ahead

      Cons

      Going down hill and it’s because of the management. Upper management is blind and never monitors the middle management. Everyone just sits at desks and does meetings.

      Miserable place, look elsewhere

      Pros

      Hach has a very good and well-established chemistry. The overall goal of the company is worth striving for (giving the world clean drinking water). The workers are generally pleasant and good to work with.

      Cons

      Mismanagement at every level and is filled with a mixture of petty dictators and incompetent nitwits all trying to be the top of the turtle-stack. They have absolutely no clue and would prefer to give the illusion of work by giving mountains of unnecessary DBS (emphasis on BS) busywork instead of letting people do their job. There is a constant general malaise in the plant and that isn't by accident; Hach has fully drank the Danaher kool-aid.
