Pros
Pay is better than most hospitals but there is a reason.
Cons
Hospital administration and department administration do not care about you, I'm not even sure they care about patients because if they did staffing would be better, work loads would be better, and they would actually do things that show they appreciate their staff, but they don't. I've never seen the CEO round in the hospital or department, I've seldomly seen my own director. The CNO comes around every few months, but only ever when we're being audited or something bad has happened.
