Do not value NP's, Patriarchal system which is non-progressive in many ways; they continue to nickel and dime everything, increasing the cost and decreasing the coverage of benefits; the hourly rate for nurses is less than the state average--nurses take on the tasks of all disciplines and are still the first to pay the price if something goes wrong. The physical and emotional stress is not worth the amount we are being paid.
