Pros

There is a very strong portfolio of very well know brands. The work life balance is very good (Never get an email after 5 or on the weekends) and there is flexibility with your schedule. If you are a problem solver or someone that is solutions oriented, you will do incredibly well at Hain. Most of the management is willing to help, but most people don't understand the complexity of the issues within Hain, which sometimes make it seem that they are not. Their hands are tied at times. Days off, personal time and holidays are very good. The base salary is pretty good, although some other companies are higher, but overall they are competitive, especially for long island.

Cons

The good brands are long in the tooth. Hain is not very good at innovation and is not a marketing company and needs to bring in some talented marketers ASAP if it wants to grow. Its not good that there are sales people there with better marketing insight that the actual marketing people themselves. Production, mixing centers and basically all of operations are still a train wreck. The person in charge of transportation is not the greatest. The Chief Sales Officer can be very difficult and rarely listens to other peoples point of view. He is very smart, but not experienced in Natural and it shows. He wants to help, but its hard to figure our how to speak with him.

Pros

Good work life balance - depending on team Good brands Competitive pay

Cons

Horrible leadership team - since the change in leadership back in January, this company has gone down the drain. In a rush to try to appease shareholders, this company is running everyone to the ground. The marketing team has lost about 50% of personnel and has not been able to replace people because of the horrible culture. There is no focus on actual consumer marketing and brand managers are basically project managers who run around doing everyone else's jobs. Zero diversity in the leadership team - basically an old white men's club. It's honestly shocking that the board selected this CEO and leadership team to lead a health and wellness company. They fail to understand the consumer or even basic trends in the category. Yet they think they are god and every word that comes out of their mouth must be taken as gospel.

Pros

Some bosses are good but mostly not - good products but lack of meaningful innovation.

Cons

Lack of resources, lack of support, senior leadership is horrific —> driving people to illness for the chance of a big payout for themselves. They don’t listen to facts, just surround themselves by yes men who will agree with whatever they say while not doing any work themselves. The CCO is a misogynistic creep - I wouldn’t wish working with him on anyone I know.
