Working in Denmark Street surrounded by music history Quiet most days, not the busiest job Fairly easy retail work Gained some responsibilities previous retail wouldn't allow me to do

Hal Leonard at this point were the company looking after the Musicroom shops & website, however both of these were run as separate entities. More often than not, they would screw up an online order - with the lack of online support available, angry customers would come to us, and there was nothing we could do to help. Staff morale suffered because of this. The manager did his best to keep spirits up but in the end, he gave up trying too, especially when the pandemic caused shop sales to plummet and online ones to skyrocket. I was glad to be made redundant in the end.
