Not strenuous, easy to get promoted.

Cons

Insurance is horrible. Does not cover squat! Pay is not the greatest. Some management sucks. 24/7 on call.

There are no pros I can think of

Cons

Those who get promoted to management end up getting power trips. Certain drivers are allowed to do whatever and get away with anything and everything while other drivers get in trouble for doing their job. They don't allow drivers to seek medical attention when it's needed (at least in my case). Favoritism is an issue. If management doesn't like you, you don't get decent trips or the hours.
