Pros

Learning new skills, work is steady, great benefits, good department teamwork.

Cons

Once hired, your job title doesn't change in office job, despite proving yourself to be as competent as experienced co-workers. Same for pay equity, I do the same job, but make less, and have a lower job title. I do extra, give it my all, but no promotions or equity adjustments are authorized in my department.
