Pros

Great people, culture and atmosphere in the field office where I worked. One of the best training programs in the oil and gas industry. I liked that it was self-paced so advancement and timing on performance bonuses were up to the individual. 6 days on, 3 days off schedule.

Cons

Mentoring program could use room for improvement. With it being such a big company, you're really just another number when it comes down to it.

Pros

Hours are flexible at Halliburton. You can come in early and leave early if you want.

Cons

Not much room to advance with in the company currently due to the O & G down turn.
