Pros

Halliburton has been a leader in technology and great co-workers and management. The work is always staying on top of new technology and I loved working on patents and new development of products.

Cons

Halliburton moved the Chemical Technology to Houston, TX. It seems that they no longer valued experience and expertise that only comes with time and being an efficient employee who needs little or no supervision to do their job.

Pros

Lots of challenges Some very good people

Cons

The process of getting things done is a significant burden. The IT organization is poorly run. Lack of leadership and communication. No vision as to what the IT organization should be. No accountability. Unrealistic expectations about how teams can work
