Pros

It's one of the world's biggest oilfield services company that provides the best products to the energy industry, it has a great work environment and its a well paid company with other benefits like the training that this company give to their workers.

Cons

It depends a lot of the oil business and long working hours. Most oil wells are far from cities and is not always sure the return home to rest.

Pros

transport to and from work. this could well be a con as well, and that means your working hours are dead set fixed if you dont drive to work.

Cons

canteen sucks. godforsaken location. early working hours 730AM - 430PM. no flexibility in working hours if you take the company transport. dont know why our bosses are our bosses. during the downtime, layoffs are brutal.

Pros

It is a great environment to learn the oil business Benefits are competitive With the down turn hours are more manageable

Cons

Management seems to forget the field is where the money comes from With the down turn its all about cutting costs including pay and benefits. Job security is an issue Policy changes are poorly managed Job stress is very high...the good people leave and the mediocre wait to get laid off, although good people get laid off as well because the mid managers who make the decisions do not know who is good or bad, just how much they can save. The merger is sucking the life out of the company and the employees...stress is way too high.
