      It used to be a good place to work for

      Pros

      OPen to new ideas, flexible working arrangements can be negotiated with management, good information sources , fairly good knowledge exchange among product and services lines.

      Cons

      Administrative processes are erratic and very difficult to understand and grasp. CHanges are not properly communicated, understood and executed. Decision regarding organization changes might take months and even years before any results can be expected.

      Great team, reasonable compensation, good career growth and specialized in demand skill, transparent performance review, good training and knowledge sharing,

      Challenging field exposure, hectic schedule, lack of performance bonuses, lack of health benefits, too many sectionalized product lines, too specialized technical skill

      Looking for change

      Pros

      Halliburton has great people working in the organiszation. There are always intellegent, bright, enthusiastc people coming up with innovative technologies and solutions with a 'can do' attitude.

      Cons

      As with a lot of large companies change can be cumbersum and processes labourious. There is not quite the flexibilty there for employees to 'change' things quickly and efficiently. We also are 'stockholder beholden' now first and service to customer second- this was not the case a few years back.
