Pros

Having well service experience from a major company like Halliburton is a great stepping stone in terms of elevating your career potential. Within oil and gas, Halliburton experience is respected.

Cons

Halliburton as a company could not care less about any of their employees. They treat them like money making liabilities. You are overworked and underpaid.

Pros

Good money when oil price is high

Cons

No schedule, long hours, limited room for advancement. If you get stuck in a downturn in the market it doesn't matter how good at your job you are or how long you've been an employee, you will get laid off.
