Pros

Challenging job, good colleagues to work with and always working on the next big thing, that keeps you sharp.

Cons

In general it's in the lower salary employer, no option to flexible working hours, completely forbidden working from home during business hours.

Pros

Paid ok for the oilfield and didn't have a manager looking over your shoulder every minute because I worked in the field.

Cons

Management has no respect for employees personal life. Examples are : calling you in the morning and expecting you to drive across the state or to another state that same day...working many days in a row and only having a few days, in some cases a few hours, of personal time before calling you to go back to work...not standing up for employees with upper management....of course every business is about money but their only concern is bottom line.
