Great company, poor management.

Pros

Good benefits and incentives the day you start, pay is not the best but work is guaranteed have not seen lay offs even when slow downs hit.

Cons

Promotions are based on favorites not experience. Referral bonuses are promised but never furnished.

Great people to work with

Cons

Poor work environment, bad culture, old school mentality, work 40 plus hours without recognition or reward, low salary (raises minimum 2-4% even when company does well), no bonus or stock given unless you are a manager or above. Not a good environment for working mothers.

Great salary and commission. Great co-workers. Mentally challenging position.

Cons

Too many hours (working days, concurrent, at a time). Not a position that will further your development in any field of engineering except chemical engineering. As an electrical engineer, this job set me back in my professional growth.
