Pros

Easy job, nice for students to work and go to school at the same time. It's a nice job to do until you get a job in your field.

Cons

Low pay, the people that work there are strange at best but nice enough. Because Hamline partners with Aramark, alot of the people you work with are full time workers which is nice; but htey can be kind of strange at times.

Pros

Hamline's new president, Dr. Faynese Miller, has injected a sense of collegiality. Hamline is very mission driven with a strong emphasis on civic engagement and social justice.

Cons

The salaries tend to be lower than they are at other similar institutions--and without a sense that an increase is in the offing. There's a "Hamline Way" of doing things that's tough to get, but the way itself is a cool thing.
