Pros

The front line workers are some of the best people I've ever met.

Cons

The quantity of bad reviews you see here don't happen by accident. The owner is a despicable human who creates a culture of fear. But not to worry, he has an MBA from Stanford.....and will tell you practically everyday....he has an MBA from Stanford. Nothing I could say hasn't already been said in other 1 star reviews.

Thank you for sharing! As you may or may not be aware, our Human Resources department has really come to light starting at the beginning of 2020 with a new HR Manager and HR Generalist. As we have been building a strong structured department where the sole purpose is to help build and enrich our culture, it has provided us the opportunity to really examine where Hammerton can improve. In 2020 and throughout this year, our focus has been on the main processes and procedures that were indeed missing in the employee lifecycle. For example, we switched to a streamlined and more efficient HRIS system, restructured and improved our health care benefits, developed a robust on-boarding and off-boarding process, examined our compensation philosophy, created more in-depth career paths for all of our employees, started a leadership training program, and focused heavily on the health and safety of our employees -- especially as the unforeseen pandemic hit. In reference to the COVID-19 pandemic, we communicated continuously through regular stand-up meetings and emails, we set up hand sanitizer stations and took daily temperature readings, displayed COVID safety signage throughout our facility, and created a large ‘COVID News’ bulletin board that was constantly updated. We also mandated masks for everyone who came on to our property. We still communicate updates as necessary. Although we have made some great strides to building an even better company, we recognize that we can always keep improving. This is where you can help! Below is a link that has been recently sent out to all of our previous employees. If you are willing, we would love to hear more from you! We appreciate all the feedback we can get as to help us evaluate if we are on the right track in our improvements. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CPKD9YW Sincerely, Stephanie Clausen HR Manager

Pros

Hammerton has been very flexible with my needed schedule changes. I love my coworkers and manager. Everyone is motivated by what they do and problems are resolved quickly. Fun company events .

Cons

Any cons are so miniscule that you would find at any typical job they don't feel worth mentioning.
