Pros
Relaxed work environment I guess. As in, if you're the type to not perform your job duties and would rather leave them for somebody else to take care of, this company will let you get away with it.
Cons
Things were always broken, management (both on-property and above) was inattentive, there was never enough staff. As a result of all this there was always a litany of problems to deal with every day, some small some major, and the service level and general quality of the hotel felt like it dipped to that of a Super 8 or something. It wasn't like this with the franchisee company that previously ran the property. You would think corporate Hilton would do a better job at operating hotels that literally have their company name out front but I guess not.
