Pros

Discount at all Hilton Properties. See different people everyday. The work isn't terribly difficult.

Cons

Being hit on by strangers all the time. Being made so uncomfortable by strangers that you want to hide in the back. Any variation on the line "why don't you come up to my room when you're off shift." The work gets dull sometimes. You have to work weekends and holidays because we never close. Only person on the desk.

Meeting friendly people and vocational experience.

Cons

Not a gainful source of income, no pay raises, local managers pretty much run the hotels like tyrants, no time off because of poor management, high turn over rate because of hostile work environment, Head of Company (Imperial Investments) seems to only be concerned with their profits and hotel properties and reputations are giving way in light of their greed.
