Pros

You get to do more than you bargained for. Expect no encouragement. In most cases, the team might be good but please, don't expect too much.

Cons

Less pay. More work. The management is bad. Too many disconnect. Your contract may not be renewed or might be canceled in the middle of your job.

Pros

They offer decent benefits and you get an employee card that you can use to buy lunch on campus. You get several holidays off.

Cons

Nice on the outside but old inside. The classrooms and offices really need updating. Pay is not so great. Make sure you ask for what you want in pay. Don't lowball.

Pros

It's a job. Nothing more positive to say about it.

Cons

Some of the most unprofessional people with whom I have ever worked, yet they seemed to have convinced themselves that by calling everyone Mr./Ms./Dr. that *that* somehow makes them professional. The buildings are full of mold, asbestos, and who knows what else so be prepared to start having upper respiratory problems if you accept a position there. The pay is low, about as low as morale. Overall, not a very satisfying experience.
