      Pros

      Strong goal setting process and fast decision making means teams are able to move quickly. We’re doing more and more to unlock the unique aspects of our 3-sided marketplace, creating unique ways for employers, students, and career centers to work together. The team focuses on deep understanding of our customers and creative ways to engage each audience. The team is warm, smart, driven, mission-focused, and hungry. Such great people!

      Cons

      High intensity environment is not for everyone. Things move quickly and there’s a lot of cross-functional coordination required to make good decisions. Desire to collaborate and deal with complexity is important to thrive here.

      Ever since starting at Handshake I've been led by amazing Leadership. We live and breath Learn. Grow. Repeat. and I know if there are areas to improve upon I am guided and encouraged through that growth. The intentionality by the People Team creates a diverse and inclusive environment that I've not experienced elsewhere.

      Cons

      High Growth isn't necessarily a con but the effects of high growth can contribute to a very fast paced environment and lots of movement in how we scale our teams and processes, which can be a learning experience to navigate.
