Pros

Work life balance is decent. Everyone is pretty fair and drama free. Not much vacation, but we do get 11 paid holidays which is excellent.

Cons

Beware: I've been here nearly two years and cannot believe I have not had a review. I thought that was strange but considering there are no raises (unless you are promoted), it makes sense. Someone in the NY office told me that there were no raises but I thought they were being sarcastic. They weren't....it's the truth. I have been in the industry for decades and this is the first company I have ever encountered that does not give annual raises or link performance to compensation. The company has had record profits for the past few years but the raises have been ZERO. Our CEO made $18 million last year, but handed out zero to the employees. Since there are no raises or reviews, there is an atmosphere of "institutionalized incompetence". If you are a superstar you get zero or if you are incompetent you get zero. Makes no difference so why try. There is no incentive to do well. There are lots of people who have been here forever (20, 30, 40 years) but seems like no one really cares about the job. I know it's the South, but I am used to much higher standards. The company is in a bit of a time warp. Systems and policies are 10-20 years behind the industry leaders.

Pros

Benefits and pay are great, on-site wellness center is convenient.

Cons

Extremely toxic work environment, no work/life balance, office politics are out of control. NUMEROUS instances of people being fired and rehired based on flavor of the day. Entire departments of people looking for work elsewhere in fear of losing their job. Turnover is outrageous.

Pros

Some decent perks with a nice campus, on site medical center.

Cons

Horrible Culture that continues to get worse over time. Promotions given to people with certain religious affiliations in one area of the company and nepotism in general is rampant, leading to people put into positions they don't have the experience or qualifications for---thus impacting company results. Company isn't paying a 401K match this year despite record profits. Middle Management is extremely overworked with no work/life balance. . HR doesn't work for or care about the workforce---only exists to keep salaries down and execute/apologize for layoffs, work/life balance with no real ear to helping at all.
