Pros

-Since turnover is high, if you're competent, you'll start to see your level of responsibility grow dramatically within a very short period of time, allowing you to work on many different projects at once

Cons

-Horrible commute. A warning to future employees: HR may mislead you about where you are working. Most engineering positions are on-site and not downtown, which is a 40–60-minute drive north of Richland when traffic isn't backed up. There is a lot of dangerous/aggressive driving on the road to site during peak commute hours. -Limited flexibility and a very small amount of PTO. Facility closure days (like Presidents Day) are subtracted from your PTO, making the PTO number they give you a little misleading. -Nuclear industry means a lot of documentation and paperwork. Very easy to lose your technical skills as you do the same things over and over again and stagnate -The old-timer engineers act like high schoolers. Lots of gossip behind people's backs
