Most people in the shop are friendly and helpful. Tons of overtime but it's mandatory so forget about having time with your family.
Cons
Safety is of little concern. Chemicals are stored in a fire cabinet but are usually leaking and mixing. Forklifts are cruising around all the time and no one is trained how to use them they just have a random employee tell you the controls and send you on the way. Management cares more about how fast things get done than quality. If a cylinder is missing some paint or scratched (which happens often as they don't allow the paint to dry long enough) they touch it up with a $1 can of spray paint. Saw blades are dull and cause kickback but rarely get changed. Compressor is too high for the nail guns I shot a nail through two 2x12's and almost into my foot. They also expect you to work every Saturday but tell you in the interview process it's like once a month. They also talk a lot about moving you up in the company but rarely promote from within or give raises.
