Payroll Nightmare!

Pros

Accrue PTO time faster then you can use it. Management will max out on collection of PTO and never be able to use it all.

Cons

Horrible POS systems, insane expectations with only 24 hour notice and even shorter window for completion. You have to cut your payroll hours for the rest of the district because no one else knows how to schedule there store properly in return have less people to execute tasks. It is not uncommon to be told on Friday afternoon to cut 25+ hours from your weekend schedule even though your own sales are up and payroll is dead on.

Extremely mismanaged company

Pros

Walking distance from my home.

Cons

Unstable enviroment. Safety issues from having to use unsafe folding ladders instead of the industrial 4 wheeled ladders required in a retail enviroment. Stability of product gondolas poor. At this time some improvent in that area has been made still much work needs to be Stressful atmosphere. More accent on selling club memberships and warranties is pushed. Keeping product in stores re replenishments for important and best sellers has become more difficult QustionableAlthough company appears to be doing well there is no stability in hours. No inside chance for advancement. Any management positions are being filled from the outside. Too many adds during a month cycle. thus confuding the customer. Benefits slowly dissolviing unless you are at least 32 hours there is no health insurance. No paid holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas. Open all holidays except the two previously mentioned. Moral very low.Questionable as to how long this company's retail end can survive under it's current management
