Good first sales job

Pros

Real low pressure, definately has a small shop feel. You can easily befriend your managers and customers will sometimes know you by name. Sales goals are fairly easy to meet because of the no nonesense esp's and the high customer loyalty. Pay is competitive and raises will come twice a year if you earn them.

Cons

Needs more staff! traffic is unpredictable even during weekdays so you will have a massive rush of customers for hours with only a cashier and a manager on the floor. Also there are absolutely no full time jobs outside of management.

Pros

Pay is not great but ok most of the staff is friendly

Cons

Managers walk around like they are gods including district managers. Too few employees to handle store at busiest times. Managers openly call you names and make you feel as if your not doing your job meanwhile they are just walking around doing nothing or in the office sitting down talking on cell phones or to each other like no work needs to be done No real training is given the only training really given to employees is either thru a video or by another employee when they are allowed to help management never helps new employees. Most of the time your just thrown in a told to deal with it
