Great but unstable company

Pros

Work life balance - You can come in at 10 and leave at 4pm, Lunch break of 2 hours is perfectly acceptable Dress code - Wear t shirt and jeans and sneakers to work Freedom - No micromanagement, free to do what u want Pay is above market rate Pays for your motorcycle lesson

Cons

Very flat hierarchy; hard to move up as you need to compete internally for higher positions Unstable - 5 rounds of restructuring in last 6 years, u never know when you are next, can be ask to leave on same day Too many time zones to cover since all markets except US are under 1 unit, many conference calls

Pros

Great brand, great colleagues; purchase Harley attires at staff price; nice offices; good benefits and compensation; amazing place if you are passionate about motorcycles; good work-life balance. Overall there's great company hardware.

Cons

Leadership do not have clear directions; slow in decision making or no decision at all; leaders only appear to care for staff as we approaches the annual engagement survey; recognition does not come from the heart; very political environment if you are a lead (manager) and above; quality is no longer top on the list; think twice before buying the bikes as you never know when it will cause you to lose a limb; a lot of cost-cutting since new CEO came on-board but the share prices kept dropping; people are afraid to speak out as they will be perceived to be not part of the group; projects constantly running behind schedule or over budget.
