Flexibility with working from home, company socials and parties

Harmonia understands that employees are not just assets but people with lives that go awry. I've been wanting to write a review about Harmonia for about a year but have been bogged down with so much chaos in my personal life that I haven't had the chance. But laying here on a hospital bed today gave me just that opportunity... About a year ago, my family, who lived in a different state, were all getting very sick simultanespusly (one had Alzheimers, another a stroke, a third depression and a a fourth a sunstance problem). The people who had cared for me all my life were literally crumbling to pieces. When I approached upper management about the possibility of taking a sabbatical or working remotely to helpthem, they supported me 100%, guarenteed my job on my return and told me that i could tale as much time as I needed. I spent the next six months working from their home 8 hours a day and taking care of them the rest of the time and I got my family on their feet again. Without a company as reasonable and understanding as Harmonia this would not have been an option and who knows what would have happened to my family. Less than a year later, I'm laying here now in a hospital bed, recovering from surgery on my kidneys, and again I'm met with the same type of support "take your time, no rush, just get better, the work can weight." You can't understand how much of a peace of mind it is to recieve that kind of news from your superiors. It takes the stress away from an already unfathomable situation. Thank you for having been so understanding, I owe you so much.
