Pros

Opportunity to make a positive impact !! Great vision, strong and mature leadership, amazing team to work with across all groups. Utmost transparency on various parameters that is frequently shared with everyone in the company Honest and positive approach in everything we do

Cons

Limited work-life balance, but then this is why we join a high-energy start up like Harness. We want to achieve more in less time :), opportunities are short lived and we can't afford to pass them by.

Pros

1.) Mostly smart people 2.) Great company culture as all the peers as well leadership team are supports each other 3.) Since it does CI-CD-CE orchestration for other organisations, so employees working here become aware of almost all the modern technologies. The product 'Harness' itself shows that Innovation is in its DNA. 4.) Great perks : Free meal, snacks, internet bills and many more. 5.) Transparent : I bet there can not be any organisation more transparent than Harness as leaders frequently share financial data and future roadmap with all employees.

Cons

1.) It is start up. So you will have to make each day count, most of the times 8-10 hours effort/day is enough. 2.) Harness is a complicated product with good quality codes and lot of coding protocols (as expected being as SaaS). So, working on that need some extra efforts compare to other industry products.

Pros

The culture at Harness is top notch. Coworkers stay engaged and have fun both inside and outside of the office. Everyone is very helpful and responsive. In addition to that, the company provide ample learning opportunities, an amazing product to solve very relevant problems, and a pipeline of growth. The founders are very engaged with the general population of the company as well, which provides a feeling of family more so than what I have typically seen in my career.

Cons

With opportunity comes great responsibility and the pace to onboard and get up to speed within a very diverse technical landscape can feel daunting. The onboarding experience felt a bit chaotic at times and only partially prepares you for work, leaving you with many things to learn around tools and supporting daily activities.

Thanks for the kind words and for taking the time to provide this review. I'm sorry your onboarding experience wasn't great, that's on me. You're right, that session we did was a bit chaotic and wasn't our normal onboarding experience. We did learn from it and have since added 3-4 more new sessions for sales engineers to plug the gaps so you're better equipped to do your job.
