Pros

Great benefits and healthcare. Decent salary for an SDR position

Cons

Not much support from management. You either hit numbers or you don’t. They routinely fire 25% of sales department every quarter. There is also no history of any SDR ever being promoted

Pros

If you want a place where transparency fuels autonomy, where collaboration is more than a buzzword, and where high-impact work is recognized and rewarded, Harness is that place. The rigor and transparency that impressed me during hiring has carried straight through to day‑to‑day life, producing fast ramp‑up, genuine empowerment, and clear momentum toward long‑term growth. At Harness the focus is on developing high-impact skills, career growth, industry recognition, and of course wealth creation as a by product of accelerating our customer's business objectives. We achieve all this by working really hard and enabling all of our teams members across the organization to solve problems and also taking a breath to understand not all problems are weighed equally. Nowhere is that focus sharper than in our engineering squad. They model cross-functional collaboration at its finest, partnering seamlessly with sales, customer-success, and product teams to serve our clients. Supporting our self-managed platform—crucial for highly regulated agencies—they jump into late-night troubleshooting, co-develop fixes in real time during Proof-of-Value engagements, and share every hard-won insight so an issue is solved once for everyone. Their hands-on support keeps mission-critical opportunities on track and accelerates our march toward FedRAMP authorization, a milestone that will define Harness’s future in the public sector. Above all, the squad lives our Get Ship Done value: they deliver quickly, measure success by tangible impact, and never let obstacles stand between the team and shipping solutions that matter.

Cons

We have a rigorous hiring bar that can slow talent acquisition and increase short‑term workload. The high standard lengthens the search for top‑tier candidates and extends their ramp‑up period. During these gaps, existing teams occasionally shoulder “all‑hands” efforts to meet deliverables. Senior leadership is fully aware of the strain. They remain committed to investing the time and resources needed to secure and onboard the right talent, protecting long‑term success for everyone.

Move Fast, Then Move Faster!

Pros

Incredible C-Suite Leadership TRULY devoted folks who love building a great product. Constant change. The product is always evolving, we're always innovating, and creating new products.

Cons

If you do not like to work hard and move fast - probably not the place for you. For the large majority most decisions are fast and it's all about prioritizing how we can be better. However, there are plenty of other jobs where you can just work 1/2 the time and do way less. Since the company has made some strong acquisitions, and brought in some great leaders at various levels, you most likely won't get promoted ever which is a hard pill for people to swallow.
