Pros

Harness has an amazing company culture! The company stands behind their core values and we work as a team to get ship done! I love that we are celebrated often for our hard work and dedication! The learning and growth opportunities here are unparalleled.

Cons

Being remote has its pitfalls but the company has found ways to include everyone and make for a great work environment nonetheless.

Pros

Plenty of opportunity for learning, can take ownership of projects Highly dynamic workplace High collaboration between employees Good work culture Good pay

Cons

People coming from established MNCs might find the senior leadership a bit aggressive. Very target oriented and dynamic. Be ready for surprise strategy changes. I think this attitude works well for startups. So, not really a con.

Pros

Harness was built on the hard work, blood sweat and tears of a lot of very good hard working engineers, CS folks and sales. The product has staying power and is well placed in terms of market share and capabilities. Far superior to any of the competition.

Cons

About a year and half ago, the company decided to start it's first round of major tech industry layoffs. I believe in the process the current middle management figured out how they can survive and succeed in this environment. Part of that success is to make the numbers look a lot better then they are in terms of product quality, and feature capabilities. This has ended up hurting customer opinion on the product, and no amount of numbers and CFD polishing will cover up overall product issues. Current management team now has to find another scapegoat. A lot of politicking happening in the middle and upper middle management.
