Pros

You get to spend every day working with books. You have access to read anything published by Harper or Harlequin. Great location right off of the Fulton stop. They put a lot of focus on career growth and development and HR is very responsive. The benefits are nice as well.

Cons

The company is a bit cliquey among imprint and specific department, so networking can be tough. The pay is low for NYC but that is standard across publishing houses.
