Old business habits in some areas stiffle forward movement

Some of the Sr. Management lacking necessary integrity to keep good employees. Due to their negative reputation, they typically have difficulty obtaining good perm employees. In turn, they resort to bringing in consultants at a higher pay rate, however, once you are hired, management "pressures" you to become perm at a considerably lower salary almost immediately. This has happenned to most consultants, hence, many don't stay very long. Many employees placed in higher management positions would never survive in the Corporate arena.
